POWERFUL FEATURES
The next evolution of smart cameras from Matrox® Imaging is the Matrox Iris GTX series. These model edge IoT devices are capable of handling traditional machine vision workloads as well as deep learning inference. Matrox Iris GTX provide exceptional performance as compact vision systems that perform image acquisition and analytics, and provide results nearest to the manufacturing process for consistent, timely response and action.
Leverage flowchart-based vision software
Matrox Iris GTX form a complete vision system when matched with Matrox Design Assistant® X’s development environment, which lets you construct flowcharts instead of writing program code. Image capture, analysis, classification, location, measurement, reading, verification, communication, and I/O operations are all set up within the software, making it a snap to build and deliver vision applications to Matrox Iris GTX smart cameras.
Faster sensors and processors
Embedded in the Matrox Iris GTX is an Intel Atom x6000 series processor, which augments performance by up to 3x over the previous-generation smart cameras. The embedded processor has the processing power to support faster, higher-resolution CMOS image sensors.
Deep learning edge IoT device
The powerful Intel x6000 series processor delivers new levels of performance, enabling the Matrox Iris GTX to handle both traditional machine vision workloads as well as deep learning inference right at the edge.
Fully integrated I/Os
Matrox Iris GTX smart cameras offer real-time digital I/Os for interfacing directly to automation sensors and actuators. A GigE port enables communication with an automation controller and enterprise network. A USB port and VGA video output are available for completely driving a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) panel for interaction with an operator. Support for incremental rotary encoders lets you synchronize directly to the manufacturing line.
Comprehensive training and support
Matrox Vision Academy delivers a library of on-demand instructional videos and guided training to help you get the most out of your Matrox Iris GTX smart camera.
Matrox Professional Services are here to help you develop applications, providing customized training, feasibility assessments, starter applications, and deeper integration troubleshooting as needed.
