Matrox® AltiZ are high-fidelity, high-speed 3D profile sensors featuring a dual-camera single-laser design that dramatically reduces or eliminates scanning gaps or voids encountered at critical surface junctures. Improved scan rates can reach upwards of 11,000 profiles a second in alternating acquisition mode. Innovative algorithms running inside the sensors automatically generate various types of reliable 3D data—individual profiles, depth maps, or point clouds—by smartly combining or selecting the pixel data from the two integrated image sensors.

Matrox AltiZ 3D sensors pair with Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) X—a comprehensive software development kit with a 25+-year history of reliable performance—as well as Matrox Design Assistant® X, a flowchart-based development environment. Whether by writing code or configuring flowcharts, our vision software means getting 3D vision applications up and running quickly on your Matrox AltiZ.

Compatible with third-party vision software

Matrox AltiZ is also fully compatible with third-party vision software that implements support for the GigE Vision standard, GenICam™ GenDC specification, and GenICam PFNC 3D pixel formats.

Interactive profiling set up

Matrox Capture Works—a convenient, interactive set-up utility—is included in both MIL X and Matrox Design Assistant X. Matrox Capture Works lets you configure and test acquisition from a Matrox AltiZ.
